Grant projects — Innovation with EU support

ALTRON participates in a number of projects funded by European Union funds. We develop solutions in the areas of data centers, security and smart systems that push the boundaries of Czech technological innovation.

Projects of the Digital Europe Programme

ALTRON, a.s. participates in projects from the National Renewal Plan.

Brain4Industry

The EDIH B4I project is funded by the European Union under NEXT GENERATION EU. Within the framework of the Brain4Industry project, which is included in the European Digital Innovation Hubs — DIGITAL-2021-EDIH-01 programme and its purpose is primarily the creation and operation of the European Digital Innovation Hub (“EDIH B4I”), supported by the Digital Europe programme, consisting of providing services to support the private and public sectors in their digital transformation, ALTRON, a.s. participated in the Effective Communication Training II.

Development projects

ALTRON, a.s. implements these projects supported by the Operational Programme Technologies and Applications for Competitiveness.

Disruptive innovation in mobile data center design

It is co-funded by the European Union. This project continues to innovate the design for mobile data centers in a disruptive way. It follows the implementation of the project called Mobile data center of a new kind in the sense that the conclusions from the realized project will use in research and development a completely new and optimized design concept. The object of the project is to solve the possibilities of new reduced construction, factory-optimized construction and highly durable construction, all while integrating with XR technologies.

EdgeDC Showcase at the Global Expo

It is co-funded by the European Union. Project of participation of ALTRON, a.s. in international trade fairs. The objective of the ALTRON, a.s. participation project in international trade fairs is to present its products and services in Africa, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Poland in 2023 and 2024. This project aims to raise awareness of ALTRON, a.s. and its technological solutions on the international market.

Altron Control Platform — a new control system

It is co-funded by the European Union. The aim of the project is to develop a new HW SW product, namely the Altron Control Platform control system for critical infrastructure management. It is a comprehensive solution including infrastructure, hw devices, sw firmware and algorithms for managing critical infrastructure, including the possibility of integration. The product will be equipped with advanced functions for energy measurement, automatic phasing of sources, power sharing in a multi-source system, advanced PID control, the possibility of profiling operational parameters and self-diagnostics.

Entrepreneurship and Innovation Promotion Programme

ALTRON, a.s. implemented these projects supported by the Operational Programme Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Competitiveness (OP PIK).

A new kind of mobile data center

It is co-funded by the European Union. The aim of the project is to create a prototype of a secure mobile data center of a new design concept, including integration with VR/AR/XR technologies aimed at promoting distance sales and service.

Unattended micro data center

It is co-funded by the European Union. The aim of the project is to verify the technical feasibility of an unattended micro data center. The project will deal with the concept of configurable ICT hardware assemblies, and will also address the issue of virtualization platform for given use assemblies. By verifying the technical feasibility of an unattended micro data center, ALTRON, a.s will strive for further innovation and build on previous achievements with a separate micro data center.

Intelligent systems for monitoring operational infrastructure

It is co-funded by the European Union. The aim of the project is to design new methods applicable in practice for the development of reliable and secure monitoring systems that efficiently use the necessary communication resources, including smart grid system, within the framework of practical applications of concepts e.g. Smart cities or Industry 4.0.

Pokročilý systém řízení ČOV 4.0

It was co-funded by the European Union. The project deals with the implementation of a pilot project for advanced management of wastewater treatment plants. 4 companies are involved in its implementation. The outcome of the project will be the realization of a prototype of an advanced HVAC control system (HVAC) deployed for both traditional and modern PLC HVAC.

Comprehensive innovation for next-generation data center management

It was co-funded by the European Union. A new perspective on data center management — holistic view of IT and non-IT technologies, including implementation of automatic control mechanisms, redefinition of current data center design and operation processes using R&D results.
