DataSpring is dedicated to providing ICT services and solutions for corporate customers and customers KKCG Group. It has been offering its services since 2015 within the framework of its own data center infrastructure, which has been built in Lusatia near Hodonín.
It provides customers with a wide range of services based on a virtual private data center with a high level of security and additional services in the form of professional support and consultations. DataSpring also provides analytics, data processing and business intelligence services.
Our company, in association with Metrostav, implemented the construction of DataSpring Lužice data center and participated in the delivery of the technological and IT part of the entire solution.
Part of the project was comprehensive delivery of critical data center infrastructure. These were complete technological units of systems cooling, power supply including backup power system, all security systems fire protection without exception; and all related IT services, ensuring the smooth and non-stop operation of the entire complex. The next step was implementation of critical infrastructure management (CFM).

The total usable area of the data center is 2,580 m², of which the built-up area of the data center occupies more than 1,670 m².
The data hall has an area of 320 m².
The total possible ICT power of 840 kW enables the installation of a total of 82 data racks at an average power density of more than 10 kW per rack.
Certification from the Uptime Institute at Tier III level, which guarantees 99.982% availability.
The key technologies of the power supply system are installed in the required redundancy. As the main sources of electricity are installed 2500kVA extra low loss transformers. The operation is secured against prolonged power outages from the public grid by diesel engine generators, which allow continuous supply of power to the entire operation for an unlimited period of time. In addition to the possibility of gradual installation of power modules according to the growth of ICT requirements, the fully modular UPS backup power supplies provide in addition to the possibility of gradual installation of power modules inpropeller low PUE loss level 1.5.
The cooling system consists of block cooling units using technology of centrifugal compressors “Turbo- cor”. The feature of the system is liquid free cooling in winter and adiabatic precooling of air in summer. Water cooling distribution topology meets the requirements non-stop operation. Effective air distribution to the doubled floor is complemented by closed cold aisles.
The data center in Lužice near Hodonín was built de facto on a green meadow, the construction was completed in 2014, the commercial operation of DC started a year later. The implementation of the entire construction took place in three follow-up units — construction of the building, providing technical security of the building (TZB) and implementation of IT solutions. The data center has acquired from Uptime Institute Certification to Tier IIIwhich guarantees 99.982% availability.
The construction of the new data center has brought new business opportunities for DataSpring to provide comprehensive ICT customer services. Modern technologies used in the Lusatia data center ensure Energy-efficient operation, which is positively reflected in the prices of the services and solutions provided. High ICT power density in relation to the floor area, it allows the implementation of even the most demanding projects of external customers, but also within the KKCG group.
